This Renovated Driveway project creates a practical and comfortable entrance area by adding a modern and sustainable carport to the existing home. The design focuses on durability, affordability, and a strong connection with the original style of the house. The carport uses carefully selected materials to ensure a long lifespan, while keeping the structure cost-effective and easy to use. The layout includes a spacious parking area with smooth access, making it simple to drive in and park. During rainy weather, retractable side canopies can be lowered to protect the vehicles underneath, keeping them dry and clean. The assignment was commissioned by Nancy van Dijk and Ron van Rooij, with the goal of creating a realistic visual representation of the final result. Lighting was added to highlight the entrance of the home, while a pathway improves the overall layout and guides visitors towards the front door. The project includes both an affordable and a premium version, showing different material choices and design possibilities.
